SMG Metals buys and collects scrap zinc from roofing and cladding contractors, die-casters and manufacturers across London and the South East. We buy new and old zinc sheet, roofing and cladding offcuts, guttering, die-cast zinc and zinc alloy scrap, as well as mixed zinc. Pure zinc and zinc die-cast alloys vary in value, so we check your material on site with our handheld XRF analyser to confirm what it is before we price it. Everything is weighed accurately and paid for instantly by bank transfer. We supply bins sized to suit your site and collect the same day, using our own vehicles. Keeping zinc clean and separate from other metals, fixings and waste gets you a better price, and we’ll help you set up the right containers. Every collection comes with full duty-of-care paperwork, so your scrap zinc is recycled responsibly and traceably. Call us today to arrange a scrap zinc collection or get a price.
